Year 8

Congratulations to all Year 8 students for their tremendous effort in persevering despite all the interruptions we have had this year. All students should be proud of themselves and celebrate the successes they have experienced not only this term, but this year. As the year is winding down, students are reminded to keep up their efforts and remember to continue upholding our school values through the wearing of their ECSC school uniform, attendance to classes and attitude towards each other.

We have also had many events this term including; Mission to Mars, Lunchtime Activities and the finishing up of CATs. A big congratulations to 8G and 8H for planning for and running lunchtime activities in Week 9 and Week 10 of this term. The activities included cooking, dodgeball, futsal, volleyball, movies and helping around the school. Below are some of our students in action.

Year 9

Thank you to all the year 9 students, parents and teachers for their incredible resilience and adaptability with what has been a challenging but rewarding year. The year 9 students should be very proud of their efforts in 2021. Thank you to Esra Al Moosawi and Turker Cakal who wrote the following:

“Well done to the year 9 students for all their hard work and dedication throughout the year. Even though we spent most of the school year in remote learning we still pushed through and made it. And a big thank you to the year 9 staff for the endless support during this hard time whether it being electives or core subjects. As the year came to an end, exams also came along, and the students worked extra hard to study for English and Maths. We would also like to thank all the students who were covid safe by putting on a mask and using hand sanitiser, also to all the kids who got vaccinated and stayed home when they weren't feeling well. Amazing effort this year, and have a good restful break before year 10!”

A huge thank you again to Esra and Turker for their contributions.
