Principal's Notes

Dear families,

The week the school has been very busy with many Easter themed activities happening. We have had basket making with our buddies, craft, hot cross buns for morning tea, maths, art lessons, Easter egg hunts and of course lots of chocolate.

Working Bee

On Sunday morning, we had a working bee to tidy up and complete some jobs around the school. A huge thank you to all the parents and students that came. The school looks amazing.

Good Friday Appeal Raffle

A very big thank you to everyone who sold and bought raffle tickets for the Good Friday Appeal. The winners of the raffle were:-

1st - Evie Longcor

2nd - Sue Bell

3rd - Henry Lewis (Billie Behncke's cousin)

We also held a casual day to raise more funds and the school is very proud to announce that the donation to the Royal Children's Hospital will be $940.00 in total. Amazing effort everyone and THANK YOU!

Zooper Dooper sales - Red Cross fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the fundraiser for the earthquake victims in Turkiye-Syria by buying Zooper Doopers during this Term.  We raised $175 towards the aid efforts.

Start of Term 2

A reminder that due to us having a Student Free Day on Monday 24th April and the ANZAC public holiday on Tuesday 25th April the first day of school for Term 2 will be Wednesday 26th April.

Also, we will be publishing our first newsletter in the second week of the term as we will only have three days together with the students that week.

ANZAC Day

Our local Cavendish RSL, will be hosting an ANZAC Day service at the Cavendish Town Square Memorial Park Cenotaph beginning at 9am. Our school captains - Jack and Addison, will be representing our school by placing a wreath.

I wish all our families a lovely Easter break and we look forward to seeing our students and families next term.
