Grade 1

This term in Grade 1 our learning in Inquiry has been about communities and in particular the communities that we are a part of.  The children have enjoyed visits to the Barwon Heads Community Garden, the Lobster Pot and the shopping precinct of Barwon Heads.

The highlight for many of the children was the time spent on the construction of a 'cardboard community' in which the children demonstrated their understanding of the facets needed in an ideal community.
