Principal's Report

Wow, we are back for another action-packed term. Term 2 may only be 9 weeks in duration, but I am certain that it will not disappoint!

Anzac Day

Seeing our school leaders march with pride and respect on Tuesday during the Anzac Day March was an incredibly heart-warming sight. The quiet dignity and humility with which they conducted themselves was a powerful reminder of the respect that we owe to those that have served and sacrificed for our country. As we marched towards the cenotaph, with many students wearing family medals, it was inspiring to witness the respect and admiration of the crowds cheering us on, and the strong sense of community that was felt as we passed by. As we stood to pay our respects during the Service, the serenity and solemnity of the occasion was truly humbling. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of remembering those who served, reflecting on their courage, and honouring their sacrifice. Congratulations to all who came to represent out school on such a special occasion. You all did us proud!

These school tours will provide an opportunity for parents and children to see our facilities and classrooms and to meet some of our amazing staff. We look forward to welcoming you to our school and answering any questions you may have.

If you know anyone that has a child starting prep next year, encourage them to come along to our Information Session next Wednesday night.

Little Easties Transition Program – Starts Week 3

Our Little Easties Program is designed to help children transition from pre-school (4 year olds) to primary school. It helps to build familiarity with the school, and assist children to become familiar with the school environment, staff, and students. The program also encourages children to become more independent, and to work on their social and academic skills. Each week, the children will participate in a variety of activities such as; life in the Prep Room, SPICE, Art and PE, with the famous Mr Holmfield. They will also have the chance to meet new friends and build relationships with their teachers and other students. We look forward to welcoming our 2023 Little Easties into our great school!

If you know someone that you think would be interested in this program, encourage

them to contact the school or alternatively, scan the QR Code to register:

School Leaders Looking Fabulous!

At the end of last term, our school leaders were presented with a complimentary School Leaders T-Shirt to say ‘thank you’ for stepping up to lead our school. The kids were super excited to receive them and are all wearing them with pride! Don’t you agree, they look great!
