ART and Design with Ms Chiodo term 1 

Year 7A and 7B have both been involved in collaborative class mural projects. 

Students were given a small piece from an unknow image and were asked to use their mathematical and artistic skills to enlarge an image and then proceed to colour mix using oil pastels to replicate their given design. Students had no idea what they were creating until the very end of their task when we put the “jigsaw” together. Every piece was vital to the overall whole of the image. Finished or not, I think you will all agree that they did a marvellous job. This was not an easy task, however they rose to the challenge; I’m sure you will agree. Well done year 7’s!
