Macbeth

On Wednesday 10th May, the year 12 Theatre Studies class ventured into the city to attend Bell Shakespeare’s production of Macbeth at the Fairfax Studio. The students really enjoyed the production and some even made mention that they enjoyed it more than Harry Potter that they saw earlier in the year. The students had to take down notes to help them analyse and evaluate how the actors, director and designers interpreted the script for the audience. Some notable performances from the play were that of Julia Billington who played Banquo/Doctor, Jessica Tovey who played Lady Macbeth, Rebecca Attanasio who played Ross/Witch 3 and Laurence Young who play Duncan/Porter/Seyton.
