Welcome back to Term 2 where we have a busy program of events, starting with the upcoming Mother’s Day Breakfast and Stall on Friday, 12 May.
Mother’s Day Breakfast – Friday, 12 May 8am – 8.50am – SLC
The Parents Committee would like to invite all Families to a special breakfast for children, mothers and special people to Celebrate Mother’s Day. The menu for the breakfast includes, pastries by Reverie Café (choice of either a croissant, pain aux chocolate or blueberry danish), yoghurt cup by EOSS with choice of fruit and granola and a drink (choice of coffee, tea, juice or flavoured milk.) We have some door prizes to give away too! Allergy note: pastries contain gluten and diary, and yoghurt contains dairy. Tickets are 10$ for Adults $10 and $8 for Students, children under 5 are free. Please bring a reusable coffee cup to assist us to reduce waste at the event. Thank you to Mat Thompson, Clarel Philibert and Tim Hall for coordinating this event.

We need some extra Dad volunteers for the day from 7am – 9am and information on how to volunteer will be circulated by your class convenor.

Mother’s Day Stall Friday, 9.30 – 1pm Friday, 12 May
The annual Mother’s Day stall team has prepared a lovely arrange of gifts for our children to purchase up to 2 gifts each for their mum or special person. Gift prices are from $6 to $12, and each child can purchase up to 2 gifts. Many thanks to our Mother’s Day stall coordinators Valeria Green, Marcella Wilder, Penny Small and Sandi Casaroli.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with:
- Flower arranging on Thursday 1 May from 2.00 – 3.30. All welcome, please meet us outside the BER and remember to bring your own garden gloves and secateurs.
- Helping with the stall on the day. Various times are available between 9.00 and 1pm

Glass jar donations needed: If you have some spare small glass jars that can be used for our popular mother’s day stall bouquets, can you please drop them off into the Parent’s Committee donations box in the main building.
Friday Treats: Friday Treats are on sale every Friday of Term 2 and Pains au Chocolate from Reverie café will be offered for $4 each. The class volunteer roster is below:
Class Year Level Stay and Play Afternoons
To enable further opportunities for families and our children to connect, Class Convenors, PC and the School have organized a series of “Stay and Play” after school events where families can stay on school ground from 3.30 until 5.30 to enjoy a casual catch up. Children must be supervised by a parent. Your class convenor will be in touch with more details for your class. Siblings, including those in other year levels are welcome to attend.
