We hope you are going to LOVE your family’s carnival day experience, but we’ll settle for a 'Like' and a 'Share'. We are in the final stages of formalising our sponsorship offers. CARNIVAL CRAFTERNOON
Save the date!
In order to fill the stall with gorgeous 'must have' craft items, we’re going to need your help!
A few group ‘Crafternoon’ sessions will be scheduled at MPS to join forces and help make some of our craft stall items together, kicking off on Sunday August 27th from 2-5pm at the MPS hall.
Join us for a cup of tea, a chat and you never know, you might learn a new skill.
CRAFT DONATIONS
Have you searched your stash of craft and sewing supplies for items which you no longer need? This cold and wet weather is the perfect time to do it.
Craft donations of ribbon, embellishments, paint, wool, pretty fabrics, felt, buttons and card stock are required to make our wonderful craft projects! If you have any that you can spare, there is a collection box in Prep T or I can collect from you directly (e-mail Georgie on georgie_banks@hotmail.com to organise).
STUDENT CARNIVAL COMPETITION IDEAS
Have you got your entry in yet? Do you have a competitive streak?
At the last carnival, there was a flag design and cake decorating competition for kids, and cake baking for adults (used in the Devonshire teas). Instead of adults creating a competition for students, this year we want the students to come up with a few fresh creative 'MPS Carnival Competition Ideas' themselves for us to run.
Entries are now open for MPS students to come up some fresh competition ideas that appeal equally to girls and boys (or adults) for this year’s carnival. We hope to get the students seriously excited about their carnival.
When thinking about your competition ideas, you might want to think about things such as:
What kinds of things are students into in 2017?
What makes you proud to be at Murrumbeena Primary?
What are the best things about the new twilight extended hours?
So, put your thinking caps on and get your entry in now for a chance to win an exciting carnival prize pack!
Hard copy entry forms are also located at the MPS Office.

Most classes, by now, have had a stall allocated to them. Please ask your class rep for details and how to register to help on the day, or to assist with planning.
