Choices Reflect Hope

Hello Aspire CCPA, 

Happy Sunday to you all! I hope everyone is resting, relaxing and enjoying their weekend. For all those watching the Super Bowl, please enjoy the experience. To all team members, I hope you all are eating good food and spending time with your loved ones. 

As many of you may know. Last Monday, January 27th, with principals, Superintendents, Directors from all three regions as well as our Aspire Executive team. During Mala Batra, Aspire CEO's, state of Aspire presentation, she shared one quote from a man who needs no introduction, Nelson Mandela. The quote she shared was:

" Let your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears"

My interpretation of this quote is to let your hope, optimism, and core values be the driving force behind all the decisions you make. This quote resonates with me because I strive to always ground my decisions in more my core values and my hopes for our students. My hopes that they will grow up to lead this country into the future, my hope that they will compete with the countries best on all fields, my hope to inspire them to be better than themselves, my hope that they will not allow any hurdles or obstacles to do what is best for them and their community. 

Aspire CCPA, as you all know, our students need us to believe in them and give them hope. It is exhausting and tireless work, but, if we don't believe in them; for many of our students' many others won't.
