SCIENCE WEEK 2021 DAILY LOCKDOWN CHALLENGES

National Science Week is Australia’s annual celebration of science and technology.  It aims to provide an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of scientists, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) professionals, innovators, designers and entrepreneurs to the world of science.  It also aims to encourage an interest in science and STEM among the public.  And this year, it also seeks to educate and inspire students' thinking and encourage them to design a range of food solutions. ‘Food: Different By Design’ is the school theme for National Science Week in 2021.

 

Unfortunately again this year we are placed in lockdown for Science Week restricting our planned events and activities.  Once again this year we will organise some entertaining daily challenges and competitions for students to participate in at home for the chance of winning some great prizes.  I encourage all students and their families to participate in these fun activities.  More information and details of these activities will be provided on a daily basis as we progress through Science Week.
