Deputy Principal - Teaching and Learning
We are halfway through Term 3, and now well into Semester 2 classes. The lockdowns that have occurred this term have disrupted all of the learning programs, and students have not had access to all the co-curricular activities that we usually have available.
I thank the staff and students who have engaged with the Book Week activities. These have been one way for students to break with remote learning and do something a little different. The Book in a Day activity saw a group of our students produce a wonderful original story and I commend these students for their efforts. It is our hope that we soon do return to onsite learning, however, the College will endeavour to engage students in creative ways as we remain in remote learning.
I take this opportunity to remind our Year 12 students that there is much support provided at the College for selecting potential pathways for 2022.
The VTAC process is underway. Students are reminded that they must have their VCAA Student Number to complete this process. Head to www.vtac.edu.au for more details if required.
A thank you for the submissions from students of their choices for subjects for 2022. We have started the process of defining classes for each year level and look forward to providing our first full Step-Up Program in Term 4 this year.
I look forward to welcoming students back onto campus as soon as possible.
