PFA News

Dear RMPS families,

It's been a very sad time for the RMPS community.

Our wonderful crossing supervisor Kathy lost her husband a few weeks ago. On behalf of the school community, the PFA presented Kathy with a native plant as a token of remembrance of her husband Dave. The Foundation classes also made cards for her.

And we have had some other recent, sad news amongst our families- including the devastating news about our school Mum Issy having passed away. Our sincere condolences go to Issy's family and friends.

The RMPS PFA is here to support our school families in whatever way we can. Did you know that we run a Helping Hands program? If you need any support for your family - perhaps you have lost your job or are going through a tough time - then you can make contact with Ms Wigg directly, and the Helping Hands Coordinator will assist in a confidential manner. Perhaps you just need lunches for your kids or family meals made for a few days, or some other support to help you through. We are here to help if you need it.

Please everyone look after yourselves and each other. Enjoy the sun as it starts to find its way through the Winter, and we look forward to being able to catch up as a community once eased restrictions allow it.
