2021 Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey

Our school is conducting a survey to find out what parents/caregivers/guardians think of our school. The Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education and Training that is conducted amongst a sample of randomly selected parents/caregivers/guardians (previously known as the Parent Opinion Survey). It is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, student engagement and experiences of remote and flexible learning. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies. Approximately 30 per cent of parents have been invited to participate in this year’s survey. All responses to the survey are anonymous. The Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey is open now and will close on Sunday 22nd August.

The survey is conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the fieldwork period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The online survey will be available in a range of languages other than English. These include: Arabic, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Chin (Hakha), Hindi, Japanese, Somali, Turkish, Punjabi and Greek. Late Arrivals & Early Leavers

Dear Parents/Carers,

A reminder that if your child arrives at school after the 9.00am bell which is the start time for classes, you need to sign them in via the Compass Kiosk located on the office counter BEFORE your child goes to class.

Likewise, if you need to pick your child up from school before the 3.30pm bell, you need to sign them out via the Compass Kiosk BEFORE your child leaves the classroom.

Both of these procedures are required to make sure class attendance rolls are correctly marked.

Scholastic Book Club 

Scholastic Book Club catalogues (Issue 5) will be coming home in the next day or so. Due to lockdown and restrictions we weren’t able to stamp the return date on them.  Scholastic have extended the closing date to Thursday, 5th August 2021.
