Unit 1 Media Photography Folios
The task for these year 11 students was to explore a narrative through still images. They also had to adhere to specific criteria regarding quantity, composition, colour and movement. This was the first time many had to compile a photographic folio as a part of the media production process.

Photography Basics & Animation
Double exposure images created by year 9 students in remote learning
Yr 9 media we are introduced to the basics of photography- using the DSLR camera on manual setting as well as composition skills.
After exploring still photography, students apply their knowledge to stop motion animation. This combines still images altered slightly and viewed quickly to create a sense of motion.
Students created mini music video clips using stop motion animation - Students had a choice of the materials they used - from Lego to paper cut outs to digital drawing. Great results.
Movie Makers
The year 10’s in semester 1 created some fantastic movie scene recreations and some production experiments with facial expressions and reactions.

Year 10 have been working on creating remote sequences- using footage supplied by others and then edited together to create what looks like a seamless story.
