From the Head of the Arts

The Great Southern Youth Art Award online entry forms will open on Monday 7 March. I really encourage interested young artists to enter. The artwork needs to be ready for delivery to the Town Hall on 11 June. Please see PDF below for further info. 

Cinefest OZ will shortly be on again in Albany from 28 to 29 April. The short films of Josh Clark, Mia Swanepoel, Henry Baker and Edward Baker will all be on show; the students were all selected as finalists in 2021 and this is a great chance to see their films on the big screen again! 

There is a very enthusiastic group of Middle School filmmakers meeting regularly to create their short film entries for this years CineSnaps competition. There will be a School’s programme on offer as part of the Film Festival which will offer stimulating opportunities for young filmmakers and film lovers!
