Welcome to our first Careers Page with Mrs Doyle for 2022.

Mrs Doyle regularly sends out a careers newsletter. These newsletters have something for everyone and it is never too early to start the talk about what is available out there for everyone. 

As the GCS Careers Adviser, Mrs Doyle is only too happy to talk to parents and students about pathways to work & study.

Mining Careers Dinner

Each year the Mining Council hold a dinner in each region to inform you of the careers available in the mining industry and how you can be involved. The Tamworth free dinner will be held on 31 May 2022 from 6 - 9pm. If you are interested in attending, parents/carers will need to make their own way there and back. Even though the dinner is free, there is no subsidy for travel to get there.If you would like to attend but are unable to get there, please let me know and I will see what I can do.You will need to register using the information on this Mining Careers Dinner Flyer.Remember the mining industry covers nearly every occupation that you can think of, it is not all just driving trucks and machinery!

Attention Years 10-12 interested in the Women in Defence Force

DFR Women in Defence and All-round Defence Information Sessions including any school students, parents and general public on Tuesday 29th March 2022, 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Calrossy Anglican School (140 Brisbane Street Tamworth).

If you are interested in attending, please let me know and I will get further information for you, including how to register.

 Parent's/carers will need to take their students to this event in Tamworth, but if there are difficulties, please let me know.

You need to be in Yr 10 or above to attend this event.

Launch your Career

A series of sessions has been released to let you know how to launch your career in different areas. The first one will be on the 15th March from 10-11 am.
