Student Leadership

Term 1 Done and Dusted!

With term 1 coming to an end, the leadership team has been occupied in the past few weeks. Ms. Krieg, our assistant principal at this school, shared some significant factors about the overall attendance. “Working Together,” is one of the school values we embrace at this school and that’s what everyone showed. We discussed ways to improve everyone’s attendance at Hampton Park Secondary College. We strongly believe that in order for students to get the most out of their learning, it falls under their attendance.

Year 7 Welcome Barbeque!

First, we would love to start off by saying thank you to all the parents, guardians, students, and members of the community who attended this evening. If questions or theories arise, please do not be afraid to contact the school. This night could not have been possible if it weren’t for the hard work and effort our amazing staff, teachers, and student leaders put in. Great job everyone!

Free Dress Day

On the 31st of March, Free Dress Day commenced and was dedicated towards the victims that were greatly affected by the floods that took place in QLD and NSW. This day was organized by our Student Representative Council and Student Voice Teams. All the funds collected were donated to the Australian Red Cross. We thank everyone who contributed to the fundraiser and showed how fresh they can be out of school uniform.

A common expression:

“Money doesn’t buy happiness”

Tragic events like the flooding can truly show us that for some people, money can.

Congratulations everyone for staying alive throughout Term 1! Continue to strive, progress through goals, and put maximum effort into everything you do. Remember, we came to school to learn! Enjoy your break everyone! We cannot wait to see the enthusiasm and excitement when you are all back and ready to learn.
