Don't forget- Classrooms Open from 8:45 am

Classrooms are open from 8.45 am each morning.  This will allow students to come into the room start to prepare for their day of learning.  Teachers will work with the students to develop expectations around this, but this might include things like putting their bag away, getting their drink bottle out, or quietly reading a book.

Students may still choose to play in the schoolyard until the music begins playing (at approximately 8.57 am). However, once the music begins playing, students will need to stop what they are doing and head to their classroom to get ready for the day.

To ensure a calm start to the day, if a student chooses to go into the classroom in the morning, they will need to remain inside until 9 am. Students will not be able to run inside the classroom and outside again.

Please note that at the end of Term 1 we will be adjusting the frequency of the newsletter to fortnightly.
