Position Paper on Gender Pronouns

To improve understanding within our community about the use of gender and gender-neutral pronouns, a position paper has been developed with input from students and staff.
The position paper provides a clear articulation of Girton's approach to the use of gender pronouns and is particularly intended to support students and staff who use pronouns that may not align with the gender assigned at birth.
A button has been created for students on Astra under "Student Services" for those who would like to make a request for a pronoun (current or new) to be used on their Girton email.
The gender pronoun position paper can be found on Astra HERE, which we hope provides informed and balanced information to Girton students and staff about the use of pronouns which will in turn foster improved understanding within our community about the use of gender and gender-neutral pronouns.
