Success at Sandhurst Swimming Carnival

Girton had great success at the recent Sandhurst Swimming Carnival held at the Faith Leech Aquatic Centre in Bendigo.
Girton had to compete against other schools across the Sandhurst region with shields awarded to the overall winners of each age group. Girton students did the school proud with 3 out of 4 shields coming home and Girton winning overall. As swimmers dove into the pool, you could hear Girton cheering on their fellow students, which was fantastic to see. All students who came first at the carnival progress to the next stage at the Loddon Mallee Regionals in Swan Hill.
We had some outstanding individual achievements, with many students awarded Age Champion and some breaking records.
