Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Sitting here in Central Australia our hearts go out to everyone around the country who have been affected by the floods and wild weather.

An excerpt from Dorothea Mackellar's poem My Country often comes to mind:

I love a sunburnt country,

A land of sweeping plains,

Of ragged mountain ranges,

Of droughts and flooding rains.

Australia is the land of contrasts, when in one part of the country people can be dealing with drought and fires, and in another, 'flooding plains.' 

It can be difficult to comprehend the devastation and the enormous clean-up effort required after events such as this, and we hold everyone who has been impacted in our thoughts and prayers.
