Dear Parents

It is hard to believe that we are at the end of semester two. Special thanks to all students, staff and parents who have contributed to another successful term at our school. We can now look forward to term 3 when the excitement continues.

Reports are now available to you online. Parents are welcome to meet with class teachers next term if you have any concerns or need further clarification regarding your child’s learning and development. Please note that if you child receive a ‘C’ grade that they are exactly where they need to be in terms of their learning.

Semester One Reports

As you may know, the College is now using Seqta as a learning platform. Parents are able to interact with this product via a website known as Engage. When parents log in to this website you are able to view their children’s academic reports which are generated as PDF files.

STEM

Over the last two weeks all Year Three students have been involved in an exciting STEM project. This project has challenged them with new learning in various areas of the curriculum. Full of enthusiasm, the students met with Mrs Holly and her team of students from ECU to design and build a rocket. The big launch took place this week as the students gathered on the top oval to put their rockets to the test. Amongst all the fun and learning it was evident there was a sprinkle of competitiveness amongst students when it came to the big launch!

Science Fair

Today our Year 6’s held a Science Fair. In groups the students displayed experiments on the states of matter. Year 5 students visited the displays to learn about how states of matter interact. T
