On Wednesday the 16th of October Amethyst students set off on their very first excursion to the Melbourne Zoo. 

Here is what Students in Amethyst thought about the day the zoo

On Wednesday, me and my Mum went on the bus and we went to the Zoo. -Prahbdeep

On Wednesday the 16th of October I went to the Zoo. We saw the Orangutan I loved the snow leopard too. It was so fun. I went with the red group. -Isla

I go to Melbourne Zoo on the bus. I saw a Butterfly. -Felicity

On Wednesday the 16th of October Amethyst Community went to the Zoo. My favourite animal was the Penguins because they have yellow eyebrows. It was my best day ever. -Kathy

At the Zoo I saw Lions. I was with Tori and Sumeya. I saw the Butterflies. -Mayra
