From the Principal

End of year arrangements

It has been an excellent year at the College. This week we have conducted ceremonies to wish our Year 6 students well as they move on to their next phase of schooling and conducted a ritual as the culmination of our Year 9 Rite Journey program. We have had student and staff attendance at the Australian Catholic Youth Festival; Language students immersed in a program in France; senior basketball team competing in the United States and four 2020 student leaders participating in a Jesuit Leadership program in Sydney. All year levels have also engaged in important end of year activities.

There is also an element of sadness as we farewell students and staff leaving the College. At Presentation Night, we acknowledged our retirees:

  • Mr Murray Graham         Head of Inigo
  • Mr Ron Lloyd                    English Teacher
  • Mrs Shelley Morell          Primary Music Teacher
  • Mr John Alderman         Primary Physical Education Teacher (finished end of Semester One).

We also extend our best wishes to the following staff as they move on to opportunities in other workplaces or conclude their contractual periods at the College:

  • Mr Rob Deurloo                   Ward House Coordinator and Technology and Enterprise Teacher
  • Mr Cameron Tremayne    Head of Learning Area Health and Physical Education
  • Mr Guy Paragalli                  Head of Learning Area Technology and Enterprise
  • Mrs Alison Dillon                 Primary Teacher
  • Mr James Chua                   Head of Learning Area Religious Education
  • Deacon Aaron Peters        Assistant Deputy Principal Year 7
  • Mrs Olivia Green                 Languages Teacher
  • Mrs Heather Charly           Languages Teacher
  • Mrs Monica Smokrovic    Languages Teacher
  • Mrs Sheleen Davis             Secondary Psychologist
  • Mr Mitch Osborn                Health and Physical Education Teacher
  • Mr Nick Greeney                English Teacher
  • Mr Connor Doyle               Humanities Teacher
  • Ms Ruth O'Donnell           Sport and Recreation Officer

We express our gratitude and best wishes to all these staff members.

At Presentation Night, we acknowledged all our wonderful students for the positive contributions that are made to our College. We extend our best wishes to all families for a faith filled and restful Christmas holiday period. We look forward to seeing everyone in the new year.
