The new toilet block will arrive by crane Tuesday 13th September, with connectivity works, carpentry and painting over the new 4 weeks.  Grand opening of the second toilet block TBC.

Greener Government Schools Building (GGSB) Program

In 2020, CSPS was successful in receiving an additional capital works project at CSPS.  Due to the $5.9m Capital Works project, installation was paused to ensure the unit matched the need of the school.  CSPS will be receiving a 54KW solar panel system which will be installed on the new building over the next 3 months.

Such an addition to the new building will increase our sustainability commitment to lessen our carbon footprint and as a school, be more energy efficient.

External Works

The demolition works have been delayed due to a multitude of reasons, but is now back on track.  The following is a summary of current works:

• Demo of Block A building complete
• Site scrape nearing completion 
• Terracing set out commenced
• Fire service leak turned off during site scrape 
• Relocatables power balanced

There will be much progress over the holiday break relative to shaping and landscaping, retaining walls and continued drainage and concrete work near the playgrounds.
