Parent Helper Program

A very big thank-you to everyone who attended last week’s Parent Helper Information session.  We are looking forward to commencing the Parent Helper Program next week!

 

I have attached next week’s sign up sheet so that you can see your day and allocation for next week.  As you can see we have many gaps so if you are able to cover any of the available times please let me know via email.

 

The Parent Helper program will run from 9:00 - 10:00am every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday unless otherwise stated on the sign-up sheet. 

As mentioned at the Parent Helper Meeting, all parents are required to sign in at the school office and collect a visitors pass on the days they are volunteering.  I will meet parent helpers in the staff room from 8:45 - 9:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to distribute support materials and explain the activities.

 

Parent helper Sign-up sheets will be posted outside each class, please add your name to any available time slot.

 

All parent helpers are required to sign the Classroom Parent Helper & Volunteer Agreement and the Parent/Guardian/Carer Code of Conduct before they begin supporting students.  Copiers of these forms are available at the School Office and I have attached digital copies of these forms below.

 

All parent helpers also need a current Working with Child Check. A copy of this must be left at the school office before the parent helper can commence their support. 

 

If you were unable to attend the parent Helper Information Session you are still able to be a Parent Helper once the above forms are completed and a copy of your working with children check is provided to the office.
