Bridge Arts Project
Revitalising Meninya Street is high on the priority list for Murray River Council. They are currently forming a Masterplan to address issues including parking, landscaping, design and connections to surrounding public spaces.
The project is being run in conjunction with the Bridge Arts Project (BAP). The BAP aims to design and facilitate a monumental public art project based around the new Echuca Moama bridge crossing and surrounds which will be almost adjacent to the northern end of Meninya St.
A Masterplan will guide the BAP steering committee, Council and its partners in the implementation of a package of staged works to connect and invigorate Moama’s core precinct. The project will result in a vibrant and commercially viable Moama that is inviting, aesthetically pleasing, provides value for money, is sustainable, has easy access, creates a strong sense of place and is unique to our community.
We are seeking community input into the plan’s development and ask that if you can spare a few minutes, that you please complete a brief survey to contribute your thoughts on this precinct.
