Language Perfect World Championships
Over the past ten days, our students have been 'doing battle' in the Language Perfect online World Championships. They have been feverishly answering French vocabulary questions (as well as some diversions into other Modern Languages) in order to achieve various levels of achievements from Credit (500 points) up to Elite (10,000 points). While the final results are not known as this article is being written, suffice to say that we can be extremely proud of the commitment of our students and their efforts on the global stage.
For the first time, we held two lunchtime Language Perfect & Pastry Parties where students could choose to come along, work on their vocabulary modules and enjoy a hot beverage and a French pastry. Over forty students turned up for each one - what a buzz of energy!
Final results will be announced in next week's newsletter, but we have already answered 298,138 questions and earned 64 certificates - a result that has surpassed last year's record. Absolument magnifique! (Absolutely magnificent) Joy McGrath & Daniel Dema, French Department

A very BIG thank you.

Should you be able to donate any items, please bring them to Reception where they will be gratefully accepted.
CSEN Theatresports
On Tuesday, two BHCS teams attended at CSEN Theatresports final after winning their heats earlier this month.
The Senior Team, consisting of Mary, Liam, Lily and Olivia, have been competing together for most of their secondary schooling and yesterday they won the senior division! They were great to watch and displayed fantastic teamwork, creativity and talent.
The Junior Team, made up of Jade, Brylie, Liam, Chloe, and Charlotte performed to a high standard and came second - just one point behind the winning team! They showed great enthusiasm and displayed fantastic team spirit.
It was a great day all round - well done to both teams and a big thanks to Allen Dickson for running the day. Stay tuned for Play In A Day next term! Leah Nicholls (Drama)
