Christmas Appeal

A Wonderful Christmas Cause!
Our student leaders and the Parents and Friends Association are encouraging our school community to support the Anglicare Christmas Appeal, spreading the spirit of Christmas in our local community. All students from Kinder to Year 12 are invited to participate in any (or all) of the following ways:
Option 1: Dress as a SUPERHERO Day! Friday 1 December (Week 8)
This friday our students and staff dressed as superheros, celebrating being an everyday hero in our own community. Donations for the Christmas Hampers and Toy Drive were in an abundance! View all the highlights from the day!
Option 2: Christmas Hampers
Each Tutor Group and Primary classroom aims to bring in enough non-perishable food to make up at least one Christmas Hamper. There is a prize for the class with the most hampers! Primary collection points will be their classroom and secondary students may bring their items to Tutor Group and then transfer them to SS3.
Option 3: Toy Drive a fabulous opportunity for targeted support within our local community
Our Parents and Friends Association are championing the Toy Drive element of the Anglicare Christmas Appeal. Students and families may purchase a toy which will be distributed by Anglicare aiming to give every child a Merry Christmas this year. Please refer to the suggested gifts and age categories in the attachment provided. Anglicare advises they are most in need of gifts for the 10-13 and 13-18 age ranges. Our Christmas Tree in the new Resource Centre will be our collection point for the Toy Drive. Gifts brought to the classroom or tutor room will be delivered to the Tree.
In the last few days of school PFA volunteers will collect donations and deliver to Anglicare for distribution to families in need.As a school community we will celebrate the gifts at our Christmas Services at Christ Church Anglican Echuca.
Please consider how your family might be involved in this wonderful Christmas cause!
