Victorian School Music Festival 

On Tuesday 23rd August, students involved in the Greater Shepparton Alliance Band, a collaboration between Shepparton High School and Wanganui Park Secondary College bands, travelled to Hawthorn Performing Arts Centre to perform in the Victorian School Music Festival.

The band performed well on the day and were presented with a bronze award for their good performance.

Interschool Concert

On Friday 9th September, the 2nd Annual Interschool Concert will take place at GVGS. There will be bands from seven different schools performing, including SHS, and all money raised will go to People Supporting People. The concert starts at 7pm, with People Supporting People selling food from 6pm.

Shepparton Young Instrumentalists Award

The Shepparton Young Instrumentalists Award is taking place at Eastbank on Sunday 18th September. We have a number of students participating this year and it would be great to have people there for support.

Most of these students will be having a practise performance at our soiree on Tuesday 6th September, at 7.30pm in the Music Centre, so feel free to come along and be entertained.

Showcase 2016

Save the date, Friday 4th November, as this will be the night that the Showcase is on. This year’s theme is water, so come along dressed in your favourite water related costume.
