Welcome back Year 9's, we hope you had a relaxing holiday and are prepared for Semester 2. We hope you were all proud of your achievements in your 'Excellence and Endeavour Awards' and if not, we hope you can achieve your goals in this semester.
This term, there are already many things happening around the school. We have the Middle School Information Night on Monday 30 July, where there will be information on subjects for 2019 as well as the process for selecting subjects.
All Year 9 students should now be sorted with their subjects for Semester 2. Please make sure you make the most of your last semester as Year 9 students.
Athletics Carnival is next week, on Thursday 2 August, so if you are participating, make sure you come dressed to impress in your house colours and ready to cheer and scream your hearts out.

The Year 10's have started Term 3 off with a BANG! We had an Awards Assembly on Friday 20 July. This was to recognise students achievements through their attendance, Language Perfect World Championships results and Excellence and Endeavour.
Also on Friday 20 July, we had a 'Driver Education' session about being safe on the road, watched a motivational speaker video and attended an information session about VCE subjects and further studies.
On Thursday 26 July, all Year 10 students participated in a Careers Interviews day. The interviews were held at the Lutheran Church in Lilydale. Students were asked about their subject selections and career goals.
A subject selection information evening will be held on Monday 20 July at 6.30 pm, for both students and parents. Teachers will be available to speak to, to gain a better idea of the subjects content for next year.
