Congratulations to Year 7 and 8 students who received an academic award for Excellence and Endeavour for their Semester 1 subjects.
Students were also recognised with a certificate for Outstanding Attendance for Semester 1 and certificates for participation in the Language Perfect World Championships this year.

The purpose of this evening is to inform Year 8 parents and students of the 2019 Middle School Course Selection process.
You and your son/daughter will be asked to make important course selection choices staring next week. By attending the evening you will find out about;
After the formal part of the evening, we invite you to view displays and speak with staff in the Key Learning areas.
The Careers teachers will be on hand to answer questions about how course selection has bearing on studies at Middle School, Senior School and at tertiary institutions.

DUE on COMPASS - Monday 30 July
Payment and Consent, both via Compass and through the Main Office, need to be finalised by Monday 30 July. No payment/consent will be taken after this time due to organisation of travel arrangements.
A reminder, this is a compulsory event for ALL Year 7 students (it is not compulsory for Year 7 students to compete).
The cut off date for Year 8 students, wishing to compete in an event was Wednesday 25 July.
Year 8 students NOT COMPETINGin the carnival, will be required to attend school as per normal.
Students must wear School PE Uniform or House Colours on the day. Students should ensure that if they are competing they bring appropriate clothing to compete in.
A canteen will likely be available on the day, however, we cannot guarantee that these services will be available, therefore, students should bring recess and lunch as well as a water bottle.
Parents and Guardians are encouraged to attend the event. An event schedule will be posted on Compass closer to the event date.

Then the Athlete Development Program is for you.
Any Year 8 students that are interested in applying for the Year 9 Athlete Development Program need to complete the attached application form and submit it to the Middle School Office by Wednesday 1 August.

Please assist us to fulfil our legal obligations and approve outstanding absences your child may still have on COMPASS.
The Junior School Office should be contacted if it is expected that your child will be away for more than two days. To this end it is vital that student contact details are up to date.
