Walker Learning – Staff Professional Development

Last Tuesday we had our Walker Learning Coach- Karen Mackay, spend the day with our senior teaching teams.

The year 3 to 6 teams had the opportunity to discuss the implementation of inquiry learning, as well as, see Karen model a lesson with our students. The day was very beneficial for our teachers to further develop their knowledge of inquiry learning.

Year 6 Camp- The Summit

Currently our year 6 students are on camp for the week at The Summit. As well as the teachers, Mr. Lacey and Ms. Lesiuk are attending the camp.

The camp will be an excellent experience allowing our students to challenge themselves, as well as, develop their collaboration and interpersonal skills. We hope they have a great time.
