OUTDOOR EDUCATION & ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

Mount Stirling

The Outdoor and Environmental Studies students recently visited Mount Stirling for an overnight camp. The camp provided students with an opportunity to explore one of Victoria’s most popular cross-country skiing destinations and experience the challenges associated with camping in the snow.

During the two day adventure, the students snowshoed with packs to Razorback Hut and explored the mountain on cross-country skis.

Despite being very cold at times and exhausted by the end of the two days, the students embraced all of the challenges associated with snow camping.

I would like to thank all students and staff, Jessica Bishop and Andrew Rogers for an enjoyable camp.
