Senior Boys Netball Team

Our Senior Boys Netball team are STATE champs! The same team, Ben Ahale, Tom McDonald, Jack Houlihan, Lachlan Johnson, Riley Spicer,  Seb Villarreal, Connor Walker and Jayden Weichard, have been successful in winning the state title in their age group for the past 3 years – a stunning achievement.

Monash University Accounting Week Case Competition

Damian Armstrong, Benjamin Vincent and James Laven are the 2018 winners of  the prestigious Monash University Accounting Week Case competition.

The boys were provided with a case study relating to a real world accounting problem to which they had to find a solution. The written reports from all teams were judged by a panel who then selected six teams to progress to the final. The final stage involved the group presenting to a panel of judges with questions directed at the team about the proposed real world business solution from an accounting perspective.

Our boys were successful in beating teams from both state and independent schools – an amazing achievement!

Hearty congratulations to a very talented team and well done to accounting teacher and senior school coordinator Leah Shields. 

3 Way Conferencing

A reminder to all parents and guardians that 3 Way Conferencing is coming up on Thursday September 20.  It is an important opportunity to speak with your child’s teachers to ascertain how they are progressing and what is coming up in each individual subject. 

NAPLAN Results

NAPLAN results will be posted home in the coming days, overall our data has remained relatively stable with a slight increase in numeracy, particularly at Year 9, which was very pleasing.
