PREMIERS' READING CHALLENGE

2018 Premiers' Reading Challenge

The Premiers’ Reading Challenge has now finished for 2018.  Here are some interesting facts:

• 64 Year 7 students completed the Premiers’ Reading Challenge by reading 15 or more books.
• A further 30,  Year 7s completed the LHS Reading Challenge by reading between 10 and 14 books.
• Our Year 7 students read a total of more than 2,700 books.
• There were 6, Year 7 students who read more than 100 books each.
• Students in Home Group 7I, read more than 1,000 books.

A small number of students in Years 8-10 also chose to participate in the Premiers’ Reading Challenge and did very well.

Well done and a huge thank you to the students and teachers involved in the Reading Challenges.

Students who achieved either of the Reading Challenges, will be invited to a celebration early next term, where they will be presented with a certificate.
