Our Amazing Community

They say it takes a village and what a special village we have here at Beaumaris North. On behalf of our students and staff, I would like to convey just how grateful we are to the many parents who have assisted with our additional school activities and events throughout 2018.

BNPS Parents & Friends

Parents & Friends, led by Kristy Hamshare, have once again managed a number of important services and events including:

  • Prep 'Welcome/Care Packs'
  • Prep Welcome Picnic
  • Student Banking
  • Entertainment Book
  • Head Hunters
  • Mother’s and Father’s Day Stalls
  • Father's Day Coffee
  • Prep Parent Buddy Program

Planning is already underway for a parent Gala event, Student Disco and Colour Run in 2019!

Fathers' Activity Club

The Fathers’ Activity Club, led by Tom Johnson, have volunteered their time and energy to assist with a number of activities and events including the Fete, Working Bee and Election Day BBQ.

 

Thank you Tom for organising a great range of social activities for all BNPS Dads including Barefoot Bowls, Beach Volleyball, Golf weekend and Christmas Party.

Canteen

Thank you to the team of parents and grandparents who have assisted our Canteen Manager to ensure that all staff and students have their lunch orders filled every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Without your support the Canteen could not operate.

A special thank you to the Canteen Committee for their ongoing support and providing another well-received 'Special Lunch Day'.

Uniform Shop

Thank you to the wonderful team of parents who have assisted our Uniform Shop Co-ordinator to keep the shop running, filled Qkr orders promptly, ensured that named Lost Property has been reunited with its rightful owner and helped out at our Prep Transition mornings.

Class Reps Program

Thank you to Claire Nicholls, Class Rep Co-ordinator, and our wonderful Class Reps who have given up their time throughout the year to arrange social functions for our families, organise volunteers for class activities and encouraged families to get involved. Your support is sincerely appreciated by the school, teaching staff and parents alike.

Classroom Helpers

Thank you to the many parents who have assisted with classroom based activities including Literacy groups, Year 4 & 5 Bike Education, incursions and excursions, covering books and the transportation of students to specific events to name a few.

A huge thank you to those who have donated various items from a piano accordion and freezers to a fish tank and books, and of course items for the Fete and the many charities we have supported in 2018.
