The BNPS Team!

I would like to thank our incredible team of staff for their passion, commitment and dedication that allows all students to thrive. The staff support each other at all times and provide an outstanding and safe educational environment for every member of our school community.

Our Principal Class Team

We are extremely lucky to have two exemplary Assistant Principals, Mrs Moira Simpson and Mrs Robyn Morecroft, who go above and beyond for all members of our school community. 

Words cannot express my appreciation for all that Moira and Robyn do to support me in my role as Principal.

Leadership Team

I would sincerely like to thank our Leading Teachers, Jo Taylor, Debbie Murnane, Mat Doran-Brown, Grant Rounsley and Brent Plowright for their ongoing support throughout 2018.

In addition to managing specific portfolios, our Leading Teachers are mentors and coaches to all staff members.

Teaching Staff

To the teaching staff, thank you for everything you do from preparing lessons, planning curriculum, marking homework, preparing Learning Task feedback, attending meetings and completing required professional development to providing Lunch Clubs, managing student committees, mentoring students and attending school camps.

Then there are parent-teacher interviews, extra-curricular activity planning and Semester Reports – much of which is done outside of your teaching day and all in addition to your classroom teaching time.

In addition to organising events and activities for the whole school, our Specialist Teachers have gone above and beyond in providing extra-curricular programs for our students from extension groups, competitions, special performances, staff vs student games and even a Flash Mob dance!

Teaching Assistants

To our amazing team of Teaching Assistants, Jenny Baird, Kerryn Meredith, Jenny Marashli, Natalie Venuto, Dan Farmer, Jack Canty, Janine Nelson and Hailey Paynter. Thank you for the outstanding support you provide to the students (and their families) in your care. 

Our Casual Replacement Teachers (CRTs)

We have a wonderful team of regular CRTs who adapt willingly to all roles and responsibilities at our school. I would like to sincerely thank Anna Holmes, Shirley Kelly, Naomi Hunter, Tanya Gibbon, Kaye Parker, Dani Wilson, Lou Buckley, Jameel Marashli and Logan Wilson for supporting our teaching teams throughout 2018. 

Wellbeing Team

I would like to sincerely thank Dr Carolann Clifford and Mrs Natalie McMahon for their ongoing professional knowledge and advice in all areas pertaining to the emotional and social wellbeing of our staff and students. 

Thank you (and Sid and Archie!) for being there for all of us at all times.

Office Team

To Sue, Nicole, Annie, Sandra and Kerryn, thank you for all that you do to keep our school running like a well-oiled machine. You carry out your roles professionally and efficiently and support all members of our school community.

Thank you Kerryn and Nicole for managing all aspects of our First Aid program so diligently.

PR/Communications

Thank you to Shannon who has ensured that our school community has every opportunity to be fully informed at all times via Compass and the website.

Shannon’s ongoing commitment to every detail encompassed in the huge arena of Communication and PR is recognised and appreciated by all members of our school community.

IT Support

Thank you Seb for ensuring all technology is well maintained and accessible for consistent staff and student use.

Our Handyman

Thank you to Vincent for taking care of all of our maintenance and gardening requirements and ensuring that we comply with OH&S regulations in relation to our school grounds.

Our School Cleaner

Thank you Lee and team for cleaning our school daily and during term breaks. Nothing is ever too much bother and we greatly appreciate your effort and sense of humour.  

Canteen

Thank you Jenny for providing an amazing and very valued Canteen service to our families. 

Jenny also assists in many other areas of our school and we are all so grateful for everything she does.

Uniform Shop

Thank you Annie for providing a top class Uniform Shop service to our families.

Annie has brought about some great change to the Uniform Shop and her efficiency and dedication to this role is appreciated by all.

Outside School Hours Care (OSHC

To Kelly, Tamara and team, thank you for providing an exceptional before and after school care program for our students.

This service is valued by many of our school families.

Instrumental Music & Singing Lessons

Thank you to Simon Lindsay and his team of music tutors, together with Susie King, our Vocal Coach, for providing outstanding extra-curricular programs for our students.
