Rewarding Positive Behaviour

CSPS is going POSITIVE! All staff and School Leaders are looking for students who show the 4P's in the playground, classroom, specialist areas and even in the office area.  You will get a real-time notification if your child has received a positive acknowledgement from a staff member. Your child will also receive a point that will go towards their class individual reward system.  Any child receiving 100 points will get a postcard from the Principal in the mail.

If you are not signed into COMPASS please call the office for details on how to get signed on. You don't want to miss a positive acknowledgement for your child.

Holidays are almost here...

You may be noticing your child is tired or grumpy and testing your patience. That is what we call "end-of-term-itis." Unfortunately, there is no cure, but we can lessen the symptoms.

Here are a few good tips to get you and your child to the holidays in one piece:

- Make sure your child gets a good nights sleep.  Sleep can do wonders for the brain and mood.

- Try for a calm morning routine. Having a good breakfast and an organised morning routine without the rush can support a positive start to the day.

- Encourage your child to drink plenty of water during the day. Hydration is key.

- Give your child lots of positive talk and cuddles. This will help your child be the smile in someone else's day.
