Remote learning

Survey - Online learning experience

We would appreciate feedback from parents and students on the learning experience we are providing for students. Below are two links, one for students to complete and the other for parents to complete. Taking some time to complete the short survey will greatly assist us with developing the best strategy for our students.  Parents may complete the parent survey more than once if feedback needs to be given for more than one child at MGSC.

Requests for Loan Devices and Internet Provision

Thank you to parents and carers who completed the remote learning survey at the start of this term. The data was used to identify students who were in need of support with a device or Internet access. If you missed the previous survey or need a loan device or internet provision, click  here.

IT Support for students

Students who are experiencing any IT or online account issues should contact the Student IT Helpdesk via the link on the College Intranet.

Keep Active

Daily physical activity boosts physical and mental health and improves wellbeing. It also helps with concentration, retaining information and solving problems. That is why the Department is supporting Victorian schools to provide daily physical activity for their students during remote learning.

Your Child's Responsibilities for Remote Learning include:

  • regularly monitor digital platforms for announcements and feedback from their teachers
  • do their best work by completing tasks with integrity and academic honesty
  • do their best to meet timelines and due dates
  • communicate openly with their teachers and tell them if they have any concerns or issues
  • collaborate and support their classmates
  • continue to abide by their school’s behaviour guidelines.
