Captains Corner

Kye Duncan - College Captain

Welcome back everyone!!  It has been such a joy and pleasure to meet you all in the new year, fresh and rejuvenated from the holidays.  I wish everyone the best of luck in the commencement of their studies and all the best for the year to come.  It has been a rocky start with our new RATs but I hope everyone is slowly transitioning to this new state of environment.

To the Year 7s: this is a start of a long roller-coaster which will turn up, down and sometimes upside down, but just remember that there is always an end to the journey and that everyone leaves the ride feeling energised and satisfied if they went into the experience with the intentions of success.

To the Year 12s: our ride is almost reaching its final turns, and it has been the experience of a lifetime.  This final year should be one of jubilation and cooperation as we slowly trek towards our end of year assessments.  Make this one count and finish the journey with no regrets!

To everyone in-between: I implore everyone to give this year their all and to get the most out of it, as life is way more fun that way!

Please keep in mind to pace yourself and to not burn up all of your fuel too fast as you progress through the year, and remember that you are never alone in a difficult situation as there is always someone you can turn to.

As always, feel free to say hi or stop for a chat out in the yard if you see me.

See you all out there, and never forget to seize the day!
