Science and Technology

Paul Colvin - Science and Technology Co-ordinator

As we begin a new year, I would like to take the opportunity to welcome the new STEM teachers who have joined us for 2022.

Pablo Liu

Mr Liu joins St John’s for his first full-time teaching experience. He graduated from Monash University in 2019 with a major in Chemistry and will be teaching both Mathematics and Science subjects. He chose St John’s for its friendly environment and welcoming students and staff.

Irene Anania

Ms Anania comes to us from Keysborough College where she had been a tutor working with students that had fallen behind due to COVID lockdowns.  Wanting to return to the classroom and face to face teaching she has taken the opportunity to join the St John’s community and brings with her a wealth of teaching experience having started teaching in 1982. She will be teaching both Mathematics and Science subjects.

Building Update

The Junior STEM building continues to grow at a fast pace.  The roof and main frame were constructed over the holidays giving the building a more sizable impression as it continues to grow. It is due for completion in April this year.
