Careers and Overlay

During our Year 10 Overlay program Sandra Vaina, Viewbank College’s Career and Pathways  Coordinator presented the importance of resume writing and how to access the simple to use Career Tool  software programme to create one.

Career Tool that is found on our VBC career page, is used at the college for all year levels to support their career development through all the different year level they journey through.  It also offers an array of information from resumes to tax file numbers and allows students to explore university, TAFE and apprenticeships options.  The site is also helpful for parents who would like to know how to support their child whilst  moving through secondary school.  As a parent, you are well placed to offer support and advice as they begin to direct themselves towards their future goals.
