STEAM Futures Conference 2022

After our successful STEAM Conference in 2019, we are holding a 2022 STEAM Futures Conference on Friday 18th March, 2022.

The STEAM Futures Conference brings schools, industry and academia together to encourage and provide unique opportunities for students to engage and collaborate with scientists and industry experts on exciting projects that will build a vibrant community of STEAM in Victoria.

The focus for the 2022 STEAM Futures Conference is to encourage student voice and agency by bringing teachers and students together as co-learners - with students from across Victoria as both co-presenters and attendees along with their teachers.

Industry experts and leading scientists will be presenting on their own career journeys - as well as current research on innovative topics - from nanotechnology, biotechnology, drones, blockchain, artificial intelligence, 3D printing and robotics - providing students with a unique opportunity to meet and discuss in person.

We have also organised hands-on workshops and presentations, with the opportunity to fly drones and learn about award-winning student-led projects on sustainability, among the many exciting events on offer.

We have industry and educational partners outlining their vision for opportunities for collaborative projects with schools, which will be instrumental in developing student agency and enterprise. Finally, we will be offering one selected school per project with a prize to help fund and facilitate on one such collaborative project .

This an ideal opportunity for schools looking to establish and /or develop their STEAM programs.
