Modibodi projects comes to fruition…

Today was a day that many of our students had been looking forward to for some time. It was the day our project with @modibodi @modibodi_red came to fruition. We handed out 5 pairs of reusable period undies to 60 of our students. Yep, that’s 5 pairs each! Pretty exciting. Our students were so happy and grateful to @modibodi for making this happen. This project will reduce the amount of period waste that our school sends to landfill. Every one of those students is now contributing less to climate change and they must feel pretty great about that. This is special and this is big.

Periods can be a hassle whether you’re at school or not, but we’ve just helped ease the burden for these lucky kids and their families. All students in our schools should have a choice about how they manage their period. I know these students are very privileged to have this opportunity, but it shouldn’t be that way. We want to see all students who menstruate in Victoria, get the same opportunity as these students. Sign the https://me.getup.org.au/petitions/eco-friendly-periods-4-vic-schools-3 petition and help to get reusable menstrual products into Victorian Schools.
