7 Cairns Marathon

Congratulations to all of our SMCC runners who participated in the 7 Cairns Marathon Festival! We are so proud of our students and staff! A special mention to Mrs Helena, Missio Dei and our student leaders who ran two aid stations and were on site from 4:30am to prepare hydration and nutrition for the runners!

Congratulations also to Gracie van Rees (Year 11) who took out 3rd female in the 10km race in 41:26, and Charline Scherer (Year 10) who tackled her first half marathon and came 1st in her age category in a blistering time of 1hr 44min!
