My name is Abraham Duot Nyieth from South Sudan. I am the Community & School Engagement Officer at Copperfield College. I have always been passionate about finding ways to come back to Copperfield College and join the College community to support students and migrant communities. It is joyful to work in the same place that sparked my love of learning. I am Copperfield College ex-student. I completed Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) in 2010. I was nominated to delivered valedictory speech to the class of 2010. It was a great experience for me. I went straight to university after high school, where I have completed Bachelor of Social Work and I’m now studying a Master of Social Work at RMIT University. This course has opened my eyes to the world and given me many opportunities to work and volunteered in many different organisations. I am looking forward to being a bridge between school, families, and students and use all my abilities for the better of our school
