Chinese

In Chinese we are learning how to express when we do something. Our younger grades have learnt the days of the week and some times of the day. They are also learning how to follow along with stories that include details about when something happens. In addition to this, they are creating their own story pictures that we will use Chinese to talk about in class.

The older grades are looking at how we make arrangements for the future and how we talk about when we will do something. We are also learning how to read Chinese stories that feature details about plans and arrangements for the future.

All of our students are doing a wonderful job showing their understanding of the new language they’ve been studying. And what is particularly exciting, they are showing an ever-growing ability to read Chinese. It is wonderful to see!
