Year 11 Biology 

 

Field Trip

During week 10 0ur Year 11 Biology students went to Shelley Beach in Port Macquarie for their ecology study. The students were sampling the distribution of organisms in the intertidal zone. We measured a range of abiotic factors of the ecosystem to try and determine what caused this distribution. The students were engaged and very well behaved, showing maturity beyond their years. All of them got their hands, and feet, wet as we completed our survey of this beautiful section of the coast.
