Athletics Carnival

On the 25th May students from Kempsey High participated in their annual athletics carnival. Some highlights of the day included the March Past and the Tug of War between the senior students and staff. No surprises that the staff were dominant victors. The age champions of the day were:

The overall carnival champions were Lawson

We had a large number of students represent Kempsey High at the Zone carnival in Scotts Head on the 10th of June. In total we had 22 of our 29 representatives qualify for the North Coast Carnival to be held in Kingscliff in week 4 next term. Kempsey High School finished 4th out of 9 schools for overall champion school on the day which is a significant achievement given the size of our school. 

Good luck to Breeanna Horne and Kirsten Morn who will represent the North Coast at the CHS Cross Country carnival in Eastern creek next term. This is a massive achievement and you will have the whole of Kempsey High behind you when you run!
